I remember slow dances being that awkward time at a school dance where no-one was really sure what you were supposed to be doing but they provided you with a type of movement that was a great escape for anyone lacking co-ordinated control of their limbs. The new surf movie “Slow Dance” follows Craig Anderson and friends as they surf and travel through exotic and remote places throughout the globe in a highly co-ordinated manner, well on the water at least. The flick is due to come out soon and you can catch premiers happening around the world along with release info on the this little sub-site by clicking HERE.

I like when companies take the time to make a visual experience when they are releasing a new product or project equal (sometimes better) to that which they are releasing. Monster Children and HUF have teamed up to make a jazzy new hat, this is the video that they have produced to coincide. SF skating at its rawest, hat making at its finest.
Room 104 is located in Commerce Street, downtown Auckland and is a must for a place to get a haircut or a cut throat shave. You’ll find Room 104 tucked upstairs in the Achilles House, a well thought out open space plan with quality chairs, big sofas, good magazines and most importantly a crew who know what they are doing. Add to this a complimentary coffee, beer or whiskey and it starts to become an experience rather than a chore. Time to sharpen up for winter. Room104.co.nz

Black Flag is a name that is synonymous with punk music and it should be. Add to that the four bar flag and you have one of the most recognisable logos of any band across any genre. This short documentary focuses on the latter along with all their other iconic artwork interviewing the founding members and get a run down on the whole period via Henry Rollins.
First off that name! Vortex Bandits sounds like an epic 80’s hair metal band, but it’s not. Vortex Bandits is the new full length surf film by Afends. Shot entirely in the surrounds of Byron Bay featuring a host of local talent with plenty of cameos to boot. Slated to drop in August. Bitchin’
