Lost Boys Collective:

Aug 2013

We take for granted sometimes how good we have it these days. The fact that just by scrolling down this page you can see multiple full length videos without having to spend a cent, aside from an internet connection, is something that you never had access to barely even five years ago.

Whilst web videos have had a huge impact on everything they have become a part of in both positive and negative ways, it is a growing trend that more and more videos will be set for straight to internet release, or will be available online after a designated time period.

Solo Jazz is the latest offering from skate hardware brand Bronze. It’s a mix-tape style video filmed in New York featuring the likes of Billy McFeely, Richie Rizzo, and Palace’s Shawn Powers in the streets of New York City. Be about it.

Inspired by a recent interview with Shane MacGowan for Supreme this weeks featured artist is The Pogues. If you’re unfamiliar with The Pogues they are an irish punk rock band with strong folk and celtic influences that formed in the early eighties releasing a host of classics like ‘Dirty Old Town’, ‘Sunny Side of the Street’ and their most famous, ‘A Fairytale of New York’.

Cult have just released their latest full length dvd offering via The Come Up for you to watch for free. So Talk really is Cheap. Featuring full sections from the likes of Trey Jones, Chase Hawk and a hell of a closer courtesy of Dakota Roche.

Summer is ever so slowly approaching us here in the Southern Hemisphere and we are definitely looking forward to it. Longer days, warmer weather and the good vibes that Summer always brings along with it. Alex Knost has had a good summer if this new clip from RVCA is anything to go by. Packed with good waves, good tunes and most of all that smooth but sporadic surf style mixed in with some fun in the sun hangs.

Rapha Continental take you inside the workspace of Mercian Cycles to share stories behind the beautiful hand-crafted steel frames and share some insight to their upcoming project.

Taken from the newest album “Sempiternal” Can You Feel My Heart sets off the album in the perfect way to showcase Bring Me The Horizon’s new sound and direction their music has taken. It’s the third video to be released from Sempiternal following on from Sleepwalking and Shadow Moses and adds to a growing back catalogue of solid video productions. Turn it Up!

There is something about watching a short movie of people cavorting around in the sunshine, wearing boardies and short sleeve shirts, whilst you are sitting inside in the dark and cold. Needless to say it’s a vacation of the mind and it fuels anticipation of warmer weather and seeing new places.  Nti Sheeto is the latest project from Dion Agius where he and fellow surfers Ozzie Wright, Dion Agius, Creed McTaggart, Thom Pringle and Warren Smith,  explore the different sides of Indonesia.
